Fran and Ray are fighting to keep their family from falling apart. Their home is on the edge of foreclosure, Ray can’t find steady work, and their adult daughter, Katie, is struggling financially. Desperate to save the house, Ray cashes out his investment portfolio — but instead of using the money to help, he blows through it all. As Ray spirals toward a breaking point, Fran scrambles for a way to pull him back from the edge. It will take resilience, grit, and a helluva lot of love for this family to survive the crushing pressures of the Great Recession.
